First trip to IA

Carter, Jim and I took a quick trip(less than 12 hrs) to IA to check on the house...and carter got to check out his new bed! He slept great in it( 8 hours to be exact) and we are looking forward to being back in our house in about a month!

Weekend...

We had a good weekend. On friday night us girls had a girls night at the Silver Moon Supper Club. Shannon, Lisa, Sandy and I all had a great time. The food was awesome!

Grandma and Grandpa Paulus came for a quick visit(pics below). The whole family (aunt lacey and uncle ben and joe) also came for for lunch.

Tommorow we have Carter's 2 month check up...hopefully he takes his shots well!!

ATO Legacy Pics

Carter made his 1st trip to ATO! He got the chance to hang out in the President's room(ben's room). He ended up pooping in his onsie...but we were able to get a quick picture!

We had a big night last night...Carter slept in his packplay for the first night and slept from 9:30-6:30am...YIPEE!!

8 weeks old today!

Today was a big day..Carter turned 8 weeks old! We didnt do anything too exciting due to we were both still tired from our big cities trip. I took an infant CPR class this evening so i know know what to do in an emergency.
Tommorow Carter get weighed in and next monday we have his two month check up!

This weekend was a busy one. Ellie, Carter and I took a trip to the cities. We left friday afternoon and stopped at alberville along the way. We ended up finding some great deals!! That evening we ate out at Bonfire Restaurant and then made our way to Jerry and Jennie's house in Inver Grove Heights.
Saturday we took our 1st trip to the Mall of America..or as kenny would call it "Mega Mall" Wow what hard work it is to take a stroller through the mall. We found out you really have to plan your route and work efficently! My friend Jen Sloan drove up from IA for the weekend so she helped us shop!
That evening we had a dinner for a bunch of friends to meet Carter! It was great seeing everyone and the food was good. I even decided to splurge and have my first glass of wine(it has been 11 months)...well i ended up only need 1/2 glass!!haha
Sunday morning Jerry made us french toast breakfast! Jerry and Carter watched football(pics below) and then we took off to make it back to Fargo!
