Arizona Trip

We had a great trip to Arizona!
Kenny, Carter, and I flew to phoenix on wed night and then on thurday Grandpa Jim and Tanner met us there for the weekend. The boys were great on the airplane and overall had a wonderful time:
Recap:
Thurday: bike rides, walks, swimming, shopping at an Santan Village, went out to eat for supper
Friday: long walk, phoenix zoo, flying toy helicopters, dinner, grown ups played dominos
Saturday: went to Scottsdale for lunch and looking at houses, climing mountains and walks, Kenny and Danielle went on a date (dinner and best buy...what a lucky gal I am) :)
Saturday: Church and flew back home

Lacey is officially Mrs.Long !!!!

Lacey and Jackson are married!! YEA!!! What a beautiful wedding!!
Little Carter was an adorable Ring Bearer(ok i am a little biased) and did a great job wearing his tux all night long. He even learned a few dance moves!

Milestone updates:
*Loves it when you "steal" his nose
* learned to say and NO and shake his head no
*Enjoys reading books but has a very short time span
* Words that he likes to use: shoes, more, bye, ball, pup, socks
* loves going to school...everytime we drop him off he barely remembers to say good bye
* Really enjoys giving hugs and kisses (still trying to work on getting him to close mouth kiss)
* still does not love swimming....we are trying swimming lessons again in march... :)

We are looking forward to Kenny starting his new job on March 1st. We are house searching and trying to find a fit that works for us.
We are going to Arizona next week....looking forward to the sun!!

Baby Boy #2 is doing well..kicking and moving around in there. I started his baby book this week and cant believe how fast the pregnancy has gone by. June will be here before we know it!

15 Month Check Up

15 Month Checkup:
Heights: 29 1/2"-- 10% (our little guy!!!)
Weight: 24 lb 7 oz--- 60%
Head: 47.8 inches

Had a good doctors appt. Doctor said he is doing well!! Kenny held him during his one shot..and he barely even cried. Below are some pictures from the doctors office and from New Years Eve!

Xmas 2009 has come and gone....

Life has been soooo good lately! We are so happy to all be home together!! But unfortunately we have been so busy that I have not had a chance to update the blog!

Happy Halloween from the little Monkey

We had a great halloween. Carter was a monkey...and kept his costume on the whole time.

We started off by going to a Halloween Party in horace and then trick or treated in the Jones Family neighborhood. Kendall(the good witch) and Olivia(Ariel) were a great help and carter had his own hello kitty bucket(sorry kenny its all we had).

We also made a quick stop the Scherweit house because Carter and Sophie were both monkeys and it was a great photo opportunity!!

Although Carter gave all his candy to Kendall and olivia...he had a great time!!

Loves Halloween!!

MN Zoo

We took a family trip to the zoo in October. Carter loved the fish the best. We checked out the farm animals and he wasnt sure what he thought about the goats...after he while he got used to them.
We had great weather and had a great time. CArter had a sleepover with Ellie that night and then the next morning we went to the waterpark of America with the Lawler clang! We had a great time minus the part that Carter hated the water...haha! Looks like its going to be a work in progress.
