here are mason's January Elmo shots. Carter has started to feel the need to be in the pictures!

Carter would want everyone to know that he LOVES watching Mickey Mouse on tv. If we would let him he would watch it for hours and hours. He also loves cottage cheese and will eat it by the handful...literally.

Mason is eating real food more and more each day. He is our chunky bear. He LOVES watching carter and laughing at him. We have been practicing clapping and giving high fives. We like to think he understands us.

random updates

Carter updates:
*Wants to sing the song frosty the snowman on the top of his lungs...often!!!
*Enjoys eating cuties(little oranges), cottage cheese, and pizza
*Loves going to school and playing w/his friends
*Starting to like the cartoon Mickey Mouse and Friends

*Just ate peas and pankcakes for the first time(see pic below)
* Starting to wear 9 and 12 month clothes
* drinks 4 bottles of 8 oz a day
* no teeth yet but drooling a lot

Great day for Mason

Mason had a very big day today! He went into have a tube put into his ear...and he passed his hearing test! We are very excited and he was such a trooper

XMAS! XMAS! XMAS!

We have had 3 days of big Xmas!!

Thursday night: We had Jim and Sandys xmas thursday evening. We had a night of lobster and little ceasars pizza! All the little kids got personlized backpacks with stuff for the Cruise. (goggles, airplane pillow, crocks, books, etc) The rest of the night was spent "swimming" around and talking about going on the boat w/mickey mouse.

Friday: Paulus Extended family xmas. We had a Soup off and everyone brought a different kind of soup to share for lunch. This years winner...Lacey and Jackson(Bread and Cabbage). We did a book exchange this year and everyone seem to enjoy it. That evening we did the paulus family gift opening. Carter was a lucky boy....cars, tool sets, games, helmet, sioux jersey were just a few items he received. Mason got lots of fun toys also (helicopter, shopping cart, monkey ball, and clothes). That evening we ate leftovers and played with all the new toys. Carter got cookies, milk, and carrots ready for santa to come.

Saturday Am: Carter woke up and ran to his plate of cookies and realized they were gone...ran around and then found all his presents from santa. Santa left carter his very own bike...and boy was he excited. After each present " i want to wear it now, or i want to play it now." Luckily he asked us to "save" them for him and would open the next one. Mason really enjoyed the wrapping paper.

We were very blessed this year to have everyone able to get together to celebrate. In a few days we leave for a week cruise with Mickey Mouse. We are thankful for a few days to rest before we start that adventure!
