Today was a busy but great day! We woke up early(well 8am) and spent the morning cleaning, eating pancakes and watching Baby Sign Times. Then Ben had an open house at our house from 12-2, so Ellie, Carter and I went to the parade of Homes Tour. We saw some beautiful homes and got some great ideas for when we build a house some day! Later in the afternoon max and jady came over to play with Carter. The kids had fun playing and us mom's got to catch up!
Then Steve Collins came over for supper and we grilled out and then took Ace and Carter on a nice long walk. Perfect end to a fun day!

9 Month Check up
9 months tommorow!
Carter has his checkup on friday. Here are the stats:
18lbz 12oz weight-- 25% percentile
17 7/8" head circumference-- 50% percentile
27 1/2" height-- 10-25% percentile. ***he is going to be a little squirt!!***
Appointment went great! No shots at this one...so that is always good. She was suprised to hear that he has not been sick yet. We are going to move up to eating three food meals a day and slowly remove the formula. Its crazy to think in only a couple more months he will be drinking whole milk.
Today we got up early and hit some garage sales(yes we are that nerdy) We found some great 12-18 month clothes and a pair of cameo crocs. But the best purchase of all were a pair of red air jordan nike shoes for onlu $9 bucks! Now carter and Mom have matching Nike shoes!
This afternoon i packed, carter practiced crawling and playing with ace, and tonight we are going to bed early! Tommorow we have a open house from 12-2 and then Carter's buddies Max and Jady are coming over to play...of course their mom's are coming too!!

Moving back to ND
Well Most of you all know that we are making the big move back to North Dakota. It is quite a bitter sweet momment. We have really enjoyed IA and all the new friends that we have made here. But to be closer to both of our families is such a blessing! Carter is going to have so much fun growing up with his cousins.
I start at my new branch in Grand Forks on June 22nd. I am excited for the new challenge of managing a new branch, but sad to leave my old branch.
We are very lucky that Ellie is coming with us to Fargo and will be watching Carter until Kenny returns(which is coming very soon). We will be living at Jim and Sandy's for the short term. We are hoping our house sells at the end of the summer and we will have a better idea of what Kenny is going to do. Wells Fargo packs and moves all of our stuff once we sell our house, so for now we are just taking some clothes and toys.
I have to give a big big big big shout out to Michelle and JK. They have graciously offered to watch Ace until Kenny returns. We are hoping Ace is on his best behavior... =) Kenny and I are very thankful. Carter will miss him though.....
Oh and one more Shout out... the Kleppe Family(our next door neighbors) have been so great to us since we moved to Solon. Scott has helped keep our lawn in great shape while Kenny has been deployed...and we are SOOO Thankful!!
Lots of big changes coming up!!
Also quick milestone for Carter...after a weekend with Parker Carter is now officially an "army crawler"
Pic of the Beautiful Flowers that Kenny sent...
"should i be worried that he did something wrong?" haha jk

1st weekend at the lake
1st off its my 100th post!! Really dont know why i am sharing that with you all, but it seems like a milestone. Actually pretty proud of myself that i have kept up with all the posting. This weekend we flew to Fargo to spend a couple dates at the lake! Although the weather wasnt very nice...we had a very relaxing time. On Sunday night we came back into town and had dinner at Shane and Lisa's.
Carter is becoming an expert flyer...all the flight attendants loved him!
Have a great week!
