Well we got a huge suprise this weekend....the little guy decided to arrive 3 1/2 weeks early! I woke up feeling crampy but drove to Grand Forks because my boss was intown and i had an auto to close at 8:30am. On my way to GF i started to think i was having contractions but was doubting myself due to how early it was for him to arrive. Once i got to work and finished my appointmnet i decided they were not going away...so i drove right back to fargo.
Kenny and I met at the hospital and at first the nurses/doctors just thought i was dehydrated and since i was only 1cm dialated they were going to send me home. To be safe they wanted to wait an hour and check me again...well one hour later i was 4cm dialated!! So Kenny ran home to get a few items and we got admitted into the hospital.
Unfortunately walking, going in the jacuzzi tub, etc did not help my labor progress so at about 9pm that night the doctor broke my water. After more waiting we started pitocin(ugh) things went fast from there. 3 contractions pushes later....Mason Scott Paulus arrived into the world.

Height: 20 inches
Arrival time: 1:25 am
