Walk away, Walk away

Carter is learning new things every day! Since he has joined the toddler room he has not stopped talking! Today he took a new phrase from school...He got upset with me and with a serious face says " walk away, walk away mommy" ....it was priceless.

Today Carter has some mommy and him time. We went and got the car washed and grocery shopped. He had a great time helping pick out all the food. Then we headed over to Barnes and Noble to look at books. He loved it and didn't want to leave. We read about tractors, Elmo, and puppies.

Tomorrow Kenny leaves for a flying trip with Jim...so its just me and the boys. Grandma and Grandpa Paulus are coming to visit on Tuesday!

Carter wanted to have a photo shoot...
This was when he was directing me to take pictures and say "cheese"

Mason was enjoying getting his pictures taken! Check out those chubby legs!!!

July Elmo Pics

Mason had his first day of Montessori School on July 19th. I was sad to see him go, but I had to go back to work!!

He has done well there so far. He is staying pretty consistent with 40z every 3 hours and sleeping from about 10-6. We are very lucky!

Carter is enjoying his brother more and more...this week Carter has been trying to make funny faces at him to smile...pretty hilarious.

The past weekend the Paulus Family was in town so Carter got plenty of time with grandma and grandpa. Tractor rides, knee hockey, bike rides, and reading books were all on the agenda.
He also got plenty of sweets....cookies and cake!!

on my way to school....going to miss mom!!

update

We have had two great weekends. There will be lots of pics to come from the 4th of july(waiting patiently for shannon to get them to me...haha)

4th of july weekend- spent the weekend at the lake. Boat rides, cater riding his trike, fireworks, and great food were just part of the weekend.

This past weekend- spent friday night at our friends the Holtens house for dinner and a playdate with their little daughter leah. Saturday-spent the day at the lake. Carter is learning how to jump off the boat into the water and kenny spent the afternoon on the wakeboard

We did get some bummer news that Wells Fargo has decided to close all 600 WFF stores. Although I knew that I needed a career change...we werent expecting this news. Luckily I will be closing the store during the next sixty days and then have four months of severance to help me find a job. It actually happened at a good time, because it gives me the push to find a new career that I can be passionate about. My resume is ready to go...so if anyone knows of any good leads let me know!

Mason has his two month check up on tuesday....excited to see all his measurements.

He is doing GREAT on his sleep schedule. Eats a feeding at 8pm and then we give him a bottle while he is a sleep at 10:00(its actually funny because he never opens his eyes) and then he sleeps till 6:00ish. Hopefully it continues.

Carter started in the toddler room last week. So far the adjustment has been good. He definitely likes to be back playing with his cousin Parker.

Have a great week!
